I remember meeting Michelle for the first time. A local Chicago influencer, she agreed to participate in my first collaboration with Lululemon. From the moment we said hello, I was captivated by her warm, grounded energy. As a part of attendance, she graciously shared a little about me (and my first brand partner sound bath) with her already large and growing Instagram audience. 

As entrepreneurs, we immediately connected around taking the leap from a steady paycheck in corporate America to chart our own paths. What started as a side hustle for Michelle—a blog with her husband about hair and styling—begat a following, along with building her confidence to expand her expertise. Then she realized that what she had gained in expertise during her initial career journey (digital marketing) could be combined with her real-time experience building an influential platform—and it could all be shared with other entrepreneurs. Thus, Media Decoded became her next focus. Along the way, she cultivated her own self-care practices to maintain balance in the ebb and flow of entrepreneurship, which she began to extend to her followers too.
